The Three Rivers Manufacturers’ Association (TRMA) operates the Three Rivers Safety Center (TRSC) in Joliet, Illinois. The Safety Center was established in 1993 to provide quality safety and health training to all contractors and industry personnel. An Advisory Committee, comprised of safety professionals, maintenance supervisors, contractor coordinators and training professionals, monitors the quality of training, ensures continuous improvement and provides input on the daily operations of TRSC.

7,000 to 11,000 contractors annually attend TRSC courses. Contractor recordable injury rates have been reduced over 83% since 1993 because of the cooperative esffort between contractors, TRMA member companies and the Safety Center staff. Benefits of TRSC Programs:
